Former Stoke City & Welsh International Footballer Kicks Off Mobility Scooter Rental Scheme In Stafford
Andy Morgan, former Stoke City & Welsh International player and his wife Nicky have opened Armorcare, a mobility specialist dedicated to improving the lives the elderly and disabled.
They opened their first store in Newcastle-under-Lyme in 2012, quickly followed by a second in Stafford and now they are offering a rental scheme to hire mobility scooters to shoppers in Stafford increasing accessibility to the town centre.
“One of a core aims here at Amorcare Mobility is to provide independence for all,” Andy said. “We have helped so many locals regain their freedom with the provision of high quality mobility products, especially TGA scooters, however we can now deliver even more.”
“Being able to easily access local shops on your own terms and irrespective of ability is so important.”
Mr Morgan said times were ‘tough’ for the High Street and he hoped the new hire service would increase retail business for local shops.”
The Mobility Scooter are available both on a one off ‘pay as you go’ basis or by signing up to a membership scheme with the following mobility producs currently available to hire

- Sonet Mobility Scooters
All the equipment is fully insured and the Armorcare team will provide simple instructions on safe driving.
